Holiday Baking

This painting took two days, almost 8 hours to complete 😩 but I achieved most of my goals with the painting.  I was happy with the color I got to describe the egg yolk and the bowl it is in.  I baked 50 sugar cookies for Christmas!! And Jimi and I have been watching the great British baking show.  That’s where the inspiration for this one came from.  Also Wayne Thiebaud’s work.  I can’t wait to bake something else.  Maybe bread?  I love Uglow’s bread painting.  I love how my creative work and life informs one another.
