A Painting a Day

It's been a while since I last updated this blog, but since then our son was born, is 2 years old now, and I graduated from college!  This was not an easy task with a baby but here I am still alive AND making art.  With school being out and time on my hands I am challenging myself to paint small and often to practice and make some extra cash because I want to go to graduate school.. I made a goal to make ten paintings before I started posting my work that way I would be sure it was possible and I am committed.  Well, needless to say, here are my paintings!  Oh, and most work will be for sale on my soon to be reopened easy shop… Thanks for looking and enjoy.

I am still figuring out the best lighting and how to better photograph my artwork.  I am a palette knife painter so my work is really textured which is hard to capture with the camera.  Some of the color is not translating accurately as well.  Any tips would be greatly appreciated!  Once I do this I will be ready for the opening of my etsy shop.
